Before the Season Turns — Dinner Two: Honey, Honey
Somewhere between the sea and the table, Greece got it right.
The long lunches that bleed into afternoon. The grilled fish that tastes like the water it came from. The honey drizzled over everything — cheese, bread, meat, fruit — as if sweetness is not an indulgence but a given. The white linen. The blue water. The memory of a meal eaten outside in warm evening air when nobody has anywhere else to be.
Dinner Two of Before the Season Turns is our love letter to all of it.
THE EVENING
** this dinner will be served on the beach on cushions and a low table in the sand— please dress appropriately **
Honey, Honey is a coastal Mediterranean dinner inspired by Emily and Delaney's travels in Greece — an evening shaped by the food, the light, and the feeling of eating well near the sea. The menu is built around the flavors of the Greek coast: bright, olive oil-drenched, kissed by the open flame, and finished with honey.
Wear white. Come hungry. Leave the agenda at home.
The full menu will be revealed when you arrive at the table. Come with an open palate and a willingness to be surprised — that is always how the best meals happen.
Three to four courses. Family style. Everything passed and shared around one long table. Intentional spirit-free pairings with each course. Sixteen seats.
WHAT'S INCLUDED
Three to four courses of coastal Mediterranean-inspired food grilled over an open fire
Locally sourced, seasonal ingredients at their late summer peak
Intentional spirit-free pairings with each course
An evening at a long table in Cleveland West with fifteen other people who showed up for it
The menu revealed only when you sit down
THE DRESS CODE
